We are committed to our service of the other and try to provide provide the disadvantaged with access to basic health and seek solutions to the difficulties for the poor to have access to health facilities. We have developed many health programs throughout the different parishes that enable us to serve the sick in our communities.
The Welcome Center for the Sick is open from Monday to Friday for walk-in Patients who need medical check-up and treatment for minor illnesses.The Center always keeps an open door for patients who come with emergency cases regardless of the time of day. Patients usually come from around Battambang District and other communities of the Prefecture. One of its greatest achievements is an agreement with the Provincial Hospital in Battambang where patients referred by Pet Yiey Chee only need to pay 50% of the hospital expenses. Today the Pet Yiey Chee Welcome Center team is made up of social workers and nurses, a cook and an accountant. |
